Sweet Mary Jo’s is owned and operated by Gloria Lynn. Popcorn played a huge part in Gloria’s childhood. Growing up she would watch her father make popcorn during family movie nights. He would make his own special blends, sometimes using raisins, chocolate chips, and bite-sized candies. For gifts during the holidays, her mother would bake for family and friends. Gloria adopted the love of popcorn and baking to create our own unique blend of popcorn. Often using her daughter as well as her family and friends as taste testers, she perfected her popcorn flavors. Her popcorn became such a big hit that requests to make more popcorn started pouring in. In 2016, Paigealicious popcorn, named after her daughter, became alive. Customer southern favorites include our Classic Caramel, Banana Pudding, Red Velvet, Peanut Clusters, and Cotton Candy. Every batch is handmade using the highest quality ingredients. We prepare each flavor from start-to-finish in our kitchen, beginning with popping extra-large, crisp kernels to create an amazing flavor of popcorn.
